Idol Gets Sued

Ex-American Idol contestant Ian Benardo is suing the show for $300 million. Benardo, who stole the mic from Dane Cook during this year’s finale claims Cook threatened him after the show. In 2006 when he first auditioned for Idol, he says producers exploited his sexual orientation by instructing him to “gay it up.” Benardo also claims that producers gave him similar instructions when he was invited back for the 2010 finale. Wyclef Jean may be running for president of Haiti. He’s done alot to help out his country before and since the earthquake through his Yele Haiti organization. Inititally he didn’t want to run saying that he couldn’t do as much for his country if he was president. But according to CNN, Wyclef has filled out the appropriate paperwork in case he decides to take part in the 2010 elections.

President Barack Obama will be on The View this Thursday, making him the first sitting United States president to appear on a daytime talk show. Diddy is being fined almost $1 million by New York City for illegally putting up promotional posters around the city. Finance commissioner David Frankel says: “We are going to find these people. We’re going to turn them upside down by their ankles and we’re going to shake them until the money comes out of their pockets.”
