DR. DRE has promised fans he will deliver his long-awaited DETOX album by the end of the year – more than ten years after his last release.

The rap icon has been working on the follow up to 1999′s 2001 on and off for years, but revealed last October that he wasn’t happy with the songs and was heading back into the studio to re-record the songs.

He now says the album is almost complete and the first single from the disc, the newly-recorded Jay-Z collaboration Under Pressure, is expected to be released later this month!
