Corinne
Corinne was born and raised in the beautiful city of Vancouver. Throughout her childhood she passionately loved to tell stories, perform in front of a large crowd of people, and always made sure she was the center of attention. Since she had a passion for acting and storytelling and always had the aptitude to be part of the media, she knew that she needed to transfer that passion into a career in the industry. However, since she had no actual industry experience or exceptional writing skills she thought it would be ideal to attend University, towards a Communications degree, before going straight into broadcasting.
Currently, Corinne is in her last semester towards her Bachelors of Communications at SFU and is now hoping to get into the Broadcast Journalism program, at BCIT, starting in the fall of 2009.
Corinne began volunteering for the Beat in 2007 and is now happy to be a member of the Beat Street Squad, as she is able to talk to different people and share enjoyable times with others, at various community events.
Other than being passionately involved with school and work, Corinne also enjoys taking kickboxing and dance classes, and LOVES to shop, travel, and spend any time that she can with her friends and family. Corinne is also a Starbucks fanatic (making at least two trips to Starbucks a day) and is oddly obsessed with peanut butter and anything with ruffles or bows.
Corinne is very excited to be part of the Beat Street Squad, so if you ever see her at different events, do not hesitate to come and say hey!!
