Anyone that’s crossed paths with Mandy knows just how much she loves talking and entertaining others, so it’s no wonder she ended up in the broadcasting field. Which she refers to as her ‘home.’ Although, her real home is back in Calgary, Alberta…and yes, she is brave enough to admit she is still a Flames fan (but don’t be surprised if you catch her at a Canucks home game). At the age of nineteen Mandy realized just how much broadcasting meant to her, so she left her loved ones back in Calgary to purse her schooling at Columbia Academy in Vancouver. And what do you know, she’s still here and Vancouver has no hope of getting rid of her.

Within the last year she has been a busy woman, reporting traffic and weather, doing promotions, and operating the boards whenever she is back visiting Calgary.

When Mandy’s not in front of the microphone you can find her…thinking about being on the microphone? Okay so maybe she does have ‘some’ life outside of broadcasting. Her pride and joy belongs to her puppy Mylo, and his girlfriend Daryl. According to her they really are in love, everyone else just thinks she’s crazy. Mandy loves anything to do with fashion and decorating, having a good laugh with friends, snowboarding, and eating fancy dinners. Oh yes, and sipping on fine wines whenever she has the chance, but not during work of course!

You can find Mandy on the slopes this winter, and by that we mean every weekend coordinating the snow squad. What’s better than getting free stuff, enjoying fresh powder, and maybe even challenging Mandy to a snow angel competition?
